Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, in association with the IQAC and Library Committee, organised an engaging Author Talk – “Meet the Author” with renowned mythologist and author Shri Utkarsh Patel, centred around his acclaimed book Kannaki’s Anklet: An Epic from the South of the Vindhyas.
The event commenced at 10:45 AM with a warm welcome address by Ms. Ramiya, Librarian, followed by Dr. Chinmayee’s introduction of the resource person. The session then unfolded into an insightful discussion on Kannaki, Silappadikaram, history, mythology and the enduring cultural legacy of the epic.
The engaging interaction offered students a fresh perspective on a lesser-discussed South Indian epic and its continued relevance.
