Nalanda Celebrates World Environment Day by Reel Making Initiative

On the occasion of World Environment Day, VASUNDHARA ????– The Green Club of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya organized a Reel Making Initiative based on the theme “Environmental Issues Faced by the World at the Backdrop of War and Weapons.”
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the often-overlooked environmental consequences of war, armed conflicts, and weaponization. Through creative and thought-provoking reels, students explored issues such as environmental degradation, destruction of natural habitats, pollution, climate impact, and the loss of biodiversity caused by warfare.
The activity encouraged participants to combine research, creativity, and social awareness while utilizing digital media as a powerful tool for communication. The reels highlighted the urgent need to recognize that environmental protection and global peace are deeply interconnected, and that nature is frequently one of the silent victims of conflict.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who effectively conveyed important environmental messages through compelling visual storytelling. By engaging with this theme, participants developed a deeper understanding of global environmental challenges and the collective responsibility to work towards a sustainable and peaceful future.
The event successfully fulfilled its objective of promoting environmental consciousness and inspiring students to become active advocates for ecological preservation and peace.
The initiative was executed under the able guidence of the Faculty Coordinator of Vasundhara Dr. Smt. Madhuri Deshmukh, Mr. Mohan Acharya student Coordinator and most importantly supported by Principal madam Dr. Smt. Uma Rele.
