Dr. Meenakshi Iyer Gangopadhyay, Associate Professor, Head of the Dept. (Dance) Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, conducted a workshop on "Learning through Movement: Dance and Expression in Early Music Education" on 18th February, 2026, for 40 teachers from the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar and Chhattisgarh at KVS ZIET, Mumbai. She was accompanied by the post graduate Bharata Natyam and Kathak students of Nalanda - Kanak Darak, Preshit Meher and Maitreyee Ingle. The workshop explored Child- Centered Dance Pedagogy for Foundational and Preparatory Stages.
