Home » News and Events
An evening where devotion flowed through rhythm and every movement became an offering. Natyanjali was not just a festival, but a sacred celebration of Indian classical arts — where dance transformed into prayer and the stage felt like a temple.
On 13th February 2026, the talented troupe of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya presented a captivating performance of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, beautifully blending grace, strength, and spirituality.
The presentation started with the powerful and dynamic Shiv Tandav, embodying the cosmic energy and intensity of Lord Shiva — a piece that reflected both devotion and dramatic expression. Followed by a serene Ganpati Shloka, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha and setting a divine tone for the performance. This was followed by the intricate footwork and melodic elegance of Tarana, showcasing rhythm, speed, and vibrant classical technique.
The performance was held at 7:20 PM at the Sri Subramani Samaj Temple Complex, Chhedanagar, Chembur, Mumbai, where the audience experienced an evening immersed in bhakti, taal, and the timeless beauty of our rich cultural heritage.
Natyanjali 2026 truly became a divine celebration of dance and tradition.
