The College successfully hosted a Conditioning Workshop with Tagda Raho as part of our commitment to student and teacher wellness. This initiative, led by the Health and Nutrition Committee and supported by Principal Smt. Uma Rele, focused on incorporating traditional Indian physical culture into modern fitness for dancers.
Tagda Raho presented their methodology which centered on traditional tools like the Gada, Mudgal, Sam tola, and Vajra, with a specific focus on building functional strength and resilience relevant to the dynamic movements required in dance. This was followed by a highly anticipated practical session where experts demonstrated effective routines, primarily utilizing the Gada and Mudgal.The session was marked by enthusiastic participation from both teachers and students, who actively engaged in the hands-on training, practicing basic routines focused on core stability and rotational strength.
